Mail delays for outgoing mail in Office 365 environment EnvironmentBlackBerry® Business Cloud Services for Microsoft® Office 365 OverviewAny outgoing message depends on co-ordination between multiple components and mail servers, below is an example of a typical mail routing: BlackBerry Device - > BlackBerry Cloud Servers - > Office 365 servers -> Firewall - > Internet - > Receiver's Firewall - Receiver's Mail Server - > Receiving Client Mail routing delay on any of the above hops could be perceived as mail delays by the end user. Unless the message is actually being monitored for time or the message has time sensitive data this delay is generally not noticeable. ResolutionOnce issues causing mail delays have been ruled out at the first and last hops. Analyzing email headers per RFC 822 can help identify if the delay is being caused by any of the hops in-between. There are multiple free tools on internet which can help analyze the message header to find out time taken for traversing each hop e.g: www.mxtoolbox.com/EmailHeaders.aspx
